How to Sell Popcorn with Pack 27

Selling Trail’s End popcorn is one of our Pack’s biggest fundraisers of the year. Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know, from signing up for storefront shifts to making your first sale.

Step 1: Sign Up for a Storefront Shift

We sell popcorn every Saturday through the end of October at:

We ask each family to sign up for at least one shift.

  • Download the Trail’s End App
    Find it in the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code in the guide.
  • Create/Login to your account
    Unit Code: 4Q7E5
    Or search by:
    Council: Marin / District: Super / Unit: 27
  • Sign Up
    In the app, tap “Sign Up for Storefronts”, pick a time slot, and check the box. You’ll see your Scout’s name appear in the slot.

Step 2: Working Your Storefront Shift

  • Check in / get popcorn
    Popcorn and cashbox will be handed off at the start of your shift.
  • Make sales
    Log in to the Trail’s End app and tap “Make a Sale.”
    Select products and checkout.
    Payments accepted: cash, credit card (Square reader), and Apple Pay.
  • Ending your shift
    Hand off popcorn and cashbox to the next family.
    If you’re the last shift of the day, the coordinator will collect the supplies.

Tip: Don’t stress! Someone will walk you through the app if it’s your first time.

Step 3: Online Sales

Scouts can also sell online to friends and family anywhere in the U.S.:

  1. Open the Trail’s End app
  2. Tap “My Online Sales” → “Manage Page”
  3. Add your Scout’s info and photo
  4. Tap “Share My Page” to get a link/QR code
  5. Send to family and friends—they can order and have it shipped directly

Step 4: Rewards

Pack 27 Rewards

  • Weekly top performer wins a gift card
  • Top seller in each Den wins a gift card
  • Top 3 overall sellers get to pie Will and the Leaders in the face!

Why It Matters

Last year, Pack 27 sold $7,100 of popcorn and raised several thousand in donations.
This year’s goal is even higher—funds go toward:

  • Overnight adventure on the USS Hornet
  • Fun Pack activities throughout the year
